Four persons have died after two boats capsized after colliding with each other at Nagdaha in Dhapakhel of Lalitpur district Friday afternoon. Six people among the ten who were riding the two boats before they capsized were successfully rescued from drowning by locals.
Those drowned have been identified as Srijana karki, Raj Kumar Thapa, Milan Basnet and Shyam Kunwar. They are all believed to be in their early 20’s and were boating in the small wet land after attending a marriage ceremony.
Two others who were injured in the incident have been undergoing treatment at Patan hospital.
